One of the world’s largest volunteer organizations wanted to better connect website visitors with its wellness programs. While they did have a high level of interest, website engagement itself wasn’t translating into visitor sign-ups. Visitors struggled to see how these specific workshops would fit their personal needs, mobile users bounced quickly, and the checkout flow was confusing and unclear.

Why Website Visitors Were Dropping Off

When the organization came to us, they already had a strong mission and program in place. What was missing was a smooth, engaging digital experience. Visitors often arrived curious and looking for tools to manage their stress, get more information about meditation, or better understand wellness workshops, but many of them left without taking that next step. On mobile view, there was no conversational entry point to guide them through, and during checkout, there were unclear details around schedules and pricing. In addition, the confusing formatting of the website frequently caused people to abandon signing up altogether.

Designing an AI-Concierge that Feels Human

To begin, we designed a guided, AI-powered conversational experience that helped visitors find their way without friction:

We created a calm, approachable avatar that was anchored to the bottom-left of mobile view and desktop pages, offering guidance to the visitor without interrupting their browsing flow.

We tailored the avatar’s interactions based on user intent, whether that was stress relief, anxiety, or practical questions like pricing and schedules. This helped us identify the most relevant workshops for the visitor, providing them with visual summaries and direct registration links to make the experience even more seamless.

We optimized the mobile experience by minimizing the avatar until it was needed, and preserved session continuity across tabs to reduce the risk of distracted drop-offs.

With the AI Concierge now in place, browsing became a pleasant, guided experience instead of a confusing or irritating one. Visitors could instantly connect their personal wellness needs to the right courses, get their questions answered on the spot, and move through checkout with fewer obstacles. The result:
